staff have voted to strike on 21 June in protest at
an imposed below-inflation pay award that averages 1.5%.
The action by 500 Prospect members will affect EH's
London headquarters at Saville Row, as well as regional
offices and tourist attractions like Stonehenge and
Hadrian's Wall. The union says this latest low pay settlement
is indicative of the financial crisis facing the heritage
body, which has already resulted in job losses.
