Speak out against low pay

The All Party Parliamentary Archaeology Group (APPAG) public meeting has been
called for Saturday 7 December at the Society of Antiquaries, Burlington House,
Piccadilly, London at 10am. APPAG is compiling a report about all aspects of
archaeology, and the meeting is an opportunity for ordinary diggers to have
our views heard.

Low pay is also a burning issue for museum workers. A meeting 'For love
but not money' has been organised by the Museum Professionals Group as part of
their own campaign against low pay. The meeting will be held on 9 December at the
Royal College of Surgeons, London. Conservators, museum education staff,
and the director of the Museums Association will all speak.
