John Moore Heritage Services is currently seeking Project Officers and Field Archaeologists based in our Oxford Office.
Project Officer position: £24,299.52 - £28,000pa + pension contribution.
Applicants must have at least 6 months commercial experience at that level. The successful candidate will be required to undertake fieldwork projects and subsequent report writing. An ability to carry out digital illustration would be advantageous. The post is permanent.
Project Assistant positions £18,610 + pension contribution
Applicants should have a minimum of three months commercial archaeological experience. Trainee posts are available for those with less experience. Successful candidates for Project Assistant will be offered contracts of at least 3 months’ duration; continuation of work after this period is likely
All applicants must be CSCS carded. A valid Driving Licence with own transport is essential for Project Officer positions. Preferably applicants will be members of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists. Personal protective clothing will be issued for the duration of employment.
