Project Assistants
Due to an increase in findings we are recruiting additional staff to carry out excavations along the route of the Lincoln Eastern Bypass. The work includes the investigation of a wide variety of interesting and important archaeology such as Mesolithic/Neolithic features/flint scatters, Bronze Age barrows, wetland zones with preserved Roman timbers, Iron Age and Roman settlements/field-systems, Anglo-Saxon remains (including cemetery), and a possible Roman villa and medieval grange.

Work will include overtime, including Saturdays. Work in excess of 8 hours per week-day and on Saturdays will be paid at time & a half, while Sunday/Bank Holiday work will be paid at double time.
For those working away from home, good quality accommodation will be provided in Lincoln, along with transport to/from site, and a subsistence payment of £15.00 per person per day worked.
 
PROJECT ASSISTANTS
£18,013 - £19,219, (depending on experience)
Applicants should have at least 6 months relevant commercial experience in the UK. The successful candidates should be flexible, organized, good team players and be able to work to defined deadlines.
 
A valid CSCS card is essential (for those who do not have one a test can be booked by visiting: http://www.citb.co.uk/cards-testing/health-safety-environment-test/).
 
A clean current UK driving licence is highly beneficial, and membership of CIfA is desirable.
