Due to the continuing success and growth of the business, EDP is seeking to recruit another enthusiastic and energetic archaeological/heritage consultant to join the multi-disciplinary team at our office in Shrewsbury.
Established in July 2005; and now recognised as one of the premium environmental planning consultancies in the development sector; EDP services a diverse portfolio of clients and projects from three offices in Cirencester, Cardiff and Shrewsbury; from where 79 employees provide a range of archaeology & heritage, ecology, landscape, arboriculture and masterplanning services.
The successful candidate will be highly professional and self-motivated, and in possession of excellent research skills. They will have a proven ability to write to a high standard and be able to deliver projects independently or as part of a team; completing both on time and on budget. They will possess an ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Twelve months or more in a consultancy environment would be desirable, but is by no means essential; likewise applicants with specialist skills in the fields of historic landscape assessment and/or standing building investigation would be welcomed. Existing membership of the CIfA at Associate level or above would be an advantage, but a full driving licence and a car insured for business use are essential.
Salary will depend on experience, but will exceed CIfA minima. EDP offers a very generous benefits package which includes 30 days annual leave, flexible working hours, a profit share bonus scheme, private health care, life assurance and free lunch.
