The post is tenable with immediate effect and, subject to successful completion of a 6 month probationary period, will become a permanent position thereafter.

Applications are invited from highly motivated and professional individuals suited to a corporate environment with at least a decade of experience in the heritage sector (preferably more), a full driving license, own vehicle and, ideally, a valid CSCS card. ‘Senior Consultant’ is one of our higher grade posts and will involve close-working with the Company’s Management Team and other members of our Consultancy Team. We provide in-house training for all of our staff to support the professional development of our team.

You will have responsibility for helping to deliver a wide range of consultancy work working out of our Bakewell HQ, or as a home-worker, where you will be accountable to the Company’s Projects Manager. Although you will be attached to the Bakewell office you will be required from time to time to travel elsewhere in the UK for site visits and meetings depending on where jobs are located and this will include occasional overnight stays. You will need to be able to document quality experience in production of DBAs, WSIs, ES Chapters, Setting Studies Heritage Statements etc. We are excited to hear from anyone who fulfils these criteria and who would like to join our growing and well-respected Company. We have a variety of projects coming on stream and are looking to recruit immediately. 

You must have excellent English skills and IT skills and ideally have a high level of competency in, or willingness to quickly develop the necessary skills in, the use of GIS. We are looking for a hard-working, professional and dependable individual who can be trusted to make sound judgements but also follow instructions and deliver project work.
