ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE ASSISTANTS
(Starting range £18,246 - £18,747)

Archaeological Solutions are an independent commercial organisation based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.  We undertake a substantial range of field projects throughout East Anglia and have immediate opportunities for new and experienced Site Assistants on a fixed term basis with the opportunity to progress quickly within the organisation for the right candidates.

We are looking to recruit motivated and reliable team players with a strong work ethic, good communication skills and the ability to cope with working outdoors.  In return, we offer an excellent training programme with a structured method of recording, to benefit individuals and enhance career development.  These posts would suit relatively recent archaeological graduates who wish to consolidate their current field experience and acquire a sound knowledge and training in all aspects of field archaeology, However, we would be keen to pursue applications from experienced archaeologists looking to take the next step in their career.

A full clean driving license and membership of the CIfA are highly desirable.  A CSCS card is essential for these posts and if appointed, we can offer assistance to obtain this.

Benefits include an annual leave entitlement of 29 days (including bank holidays); PPE, free travel to work from our office in Bury St Edmunds, a contributory pension scheme and accommodation and subsistence payments if working away.
