Canterbury Archaeological Trust Ltd is one of the UK’s longest established archaeological contracting organisations having been founded in 1975. In addition to its strong commercial practice, as a registered charity it has an enviable record for community archaeology, academic and grant-funded research. The Trust operates throughout Kent as well as in London, and across South-East England. 

The Trust is seeking to appoint two archaeological Project Officers to supervise and assist in fieldwork and to prepare reports as required.

A proven track record of commercial fieldwork and report writing is a requirement for this post; potential candidates should submit examples of their written work along with a full curriculum vitae when applying.
A relevant degree in archaeology is desirable, as is a good working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Candidates should hold a current CSCS card, have a clean driving licence and preferably be a member of the CIfA.

These are permanent posts. Benefits include 33 days’ annual leave – pro rata and including bank holidays; 20 days paid sick leave and contributory company pension scheme.
