We currently have vacancies for a Project Manager and a Project Officer in our Sheffield office. These are permanent positions, subject to a 6-month probationary period. 

Project Manager
We are looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager who will be responsible for the day to day running of the office and will assist the Regional Manager in ensuring the effective delivery of services to clients. The Project Manager will manage projects, people, external relationships, and operational issues. We are looking for a Project Manager who will be able to expand and develop our client base and has experience of consulting and contracting.

Requirements:
Candidates should have the following:

  • A degree in archaeology or related discipline and an appropriate level of demonstrable experience
  • A driving licence (for Project Supervisors and Officers)
  • CIfA membership and valid CSCS card is preferred
  • A First Aid at Work certificate would be advantageous, but not essential
Project Officer (Geomatics)
We are looking for an enthusiastic Project Officer, with experience and skills in geomatics. The role requires experience in the acquisition and processing of digital survey data acquired from various sources, such as laser scanning, photogrammetry, GPS and total station. The individual will be expected to undertake and support surveys of buildings, excavations and landscapes and to be experienced in the use of CAD and GIS for processing and outputting the results of surveys. Reporting to a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership of small to large field teams and the coordination of post excavation/reporting tasks, commensurate with your experience.

Requirements:
Candidates should have the following:
  • A degree in archaeology or related discipline and an appropriate level of demonstrable experience
  • A driving licence (for Project Supervisors and Officers)
