Project Supervisor

Northern Archaeological Associates is the leading independent heritage and archaeology consultancy in the north of England and has a broad range of current excavation, survey, geomatic, historic environment, and community projects.
NAA is currently seeking a number of suitably qualified Project Officers and Supervisors for prompt start to lead and support a range of fieldwork projects in the North East of England, Yorkshire, and Cumbria. We welcome applications from experienced and motivated field archaeologists whose interest and expertise lies in delivering the highest standards of archaeological work to meet the needs of clients and archaeological monitors.
The advertised posts are based on a 40-hour working week and fixed-term contract for 6 months with extension dependent upon workload. Starting salary will be commensurate with the expertise and experience of the successful candidates and payment will be made weekly or monthly in arrears. Accommodation close to site will be provided during fieldwork if required. A current CSCS card is an essential requirement for all candidates.
Appropriate and demonstrable experience in either role is preferred, but all applications will be considered positively. Due to the existing programme of work, selection of candidates will be ongoing, and prompt application is encouraged.
