Due to continued growth across our business and a range of large projects ahead, CFA is looking to appoint a permanent Graphics Officer in our busy Leeds office beginning as soon as the successful candidate is available. You will have a qualification in archaeology and/or graphics with a minimum of six months experience in archaeological illustration. You will be required to work as part of a friendly office locally but also as a member of our graphics team working UK wide, sharing projects according to scheduling needs. You will be able to maintain a high level of accuracy and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines originating both from the Leeds office but also other CFA offices.

Applicants would ideally have good experience in the following: GIS mapping software (preferably ArcMap): AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign. Experience in artefact and pottery illustration would be an advantage. You should have a good knowledge of, or experience in, archaeological fieldwork procedures. CIfA membership preferred.

  • Meticulous with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good communication skills with an ability to problem solve
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good written English skills
