MOLA Headland Infrastructure - Community Engagement Project Officer
Birmingham/West Midlands
£26,800–£28,750 (Salary dependent on experience)
Fixed Term – August 2018 to February 2019 with possible extension
Join the MOLA Headland team as we commence work on a landmark, high-profile, infrastructure project in Birmingham. Our archaeological works will uncover exciting new discoveries about the city’s industrial past and its long held position as a centre of national and global importance.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed individual to work alongside our field team to gather, identify, and most importantly share the stories of our project with a wide range of audiences in the region. You’ll have great networks with community, educational, and heritage organisations across the city and the region, and a passionate belief that an understanding of the past is relevant to a diverse range of audiences in the present.  Tasks will range from coordinating and delivering schools sessions to developing volunteering and citizen science project, as well as working with a range of stakeholders on this complex interdisciplinary project.  You will also have a proven track record of developing creative content for a range of digital and traditional communications channels.
