The Role
MOLA Headland Infrastructure is recruiting archaeologists to work on the largest infrastructure scheme in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at the start of our work. The first work comprises large scale trial trenching on a number sites to the north west of London. This work will lead straight onto mitigation/excavation.

Accommodation is provided seven days a week.

Applicants should ideally have at least three months UK commercial archaeological experience, though relevant European commercial experience will also be considered. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to work well within large teams and have a flexible approach to deployment. We are particularly keen to hear from applicants who have worked on linear infrastructure projects, have survey experience (feature pick up) and are willing to drive company vehicles.

There is likely to be opportunities to apply for site specific Assistant Supervisors (£23 467) as the work progresses, these will be advertised directly to staff working on the scheme.

Applications will be reviewed on receipt and immediate start dates are available for the right individuals. Preference will be given to applicants who already hold AQP/PQP CSCS cards. Please note CRO cards are not accepted on the scheme.  We can arrange and pay for a test if necessary and provide information about how to upgrade CRO cards to AQP/PQP. Offers of employment will be conditional on acquiring the right card.
Please note: The test stations are exclusively in the UK.

There may also be opportunities to transfer to work on other projects within MOLA and Headland. These will only be available subject to successful completion of the probationary period.

Employee Benefits:

  • 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) pro rata
