We are recruiting a finds processor to be part of the team working on material from a large burial ground excavation in central London.
The role will be to process finds recovered from archaeological excavations and will involve washing, marking, bagging and photographing finds as appropriate. The successful candidate will work closely with other processors, conservators and finds specialists to ensure material is treated properly and deadlines are met.

Applicants should have some prior experience of finds processing and ideally also experience in commercial archaeological fieldwork. Candidates should have demonstrable experience in working in teams to meet tight deadlines and without close supervision. We are particularly interested in hearing from those who have knowledge of finds associated with burial archaeology, have used archaeological databases in the past and experience of finds photography.

Preference will be given to applicants who already hold AQP/PQP CSCS cards. Please note CRO cards are not accepted on the scheme.  We can arrange and pay for a test if necessary and provide information about how to upgrade CRO cards to AQP/PQP. Offers of employment will be conditional on acquiring the right card. Please note that the test stations are only available in the UK.
