Archaeology Warwickshire is a dynamic provider of a wide range of commercial heritage services. With over 30 years in the archaeology business, our reputation for proficient, client-focussed, project delivery continues to exact a high demand for our services.
We are looking to welcome an additional project officer to our highly experienced team to lead on a wide range of field projects and produce client and publication reports to the appropriate CIfA standards. Projects can include desk-based assessment, heritage impact assessments, historic building recording, community projects and backlog publications.
Our progressive team are actively trained and supported to develop as archaeologists and progress through our ten levels to achieve their career goals. Not only do we encourage the development of specialisms, we will provide CPD led training, which can include attendance at seminars and conferences, fully paid travel and any necessary accommodation. The post is permanent subject to a six month probationary period.
The successful candidate will have experience in a wide range of British archaeology and a portfolio of completed reports, although less experienced but highly motivated candidates will also be considered for Assistant Archaeological Officer (Level 3) @ £23,111 - £25,463.
You will work from our base in Warwick/Leamington Spa, which has excellent transport links, and because your work life balance is important to us, fieldwork will mostly be within one hour of the office and home working will be available when you need it.
We will provide training in GIS, GPS, SSSTS, Risk Assessment, First Aid, and CAT & Genny operation should you need it.
