This is an exciting opportunity for the chosen candidate to work within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team on a wide range of high profile UK projects that include both Private and Public Sector development and infrastructure projects.  Our work covers the full suite of heritage services from early assessment at the due diligence or feasibility stages, through to acquiring statutory consents and delivery of archaeological fieldwork. The candidate must have a thorough knowledge of current UK Historic Environment policy and guidance, be able to show significant experience in development planning advise, liaising with Statutory Regulators, delivery of EIAs, bespoke assessments and method statements, and be able to design and deliver complex field investigations.

As a team leader the candidate must have a good record of working in multi-disciplinary teams, to deadlines and within budgets. The candidate will be able to show excellent oral and written communication skills, experience in the use of project management software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CADGIS etc.), strong commercial acumen, natural leadership skills and an eagerness to support and develop staff and grow the business.

A full UK driving licence is required and you must be willing to travel throughout the UK.

Waterman provide a competitive salary (exceeds CIfA salary criteria), a comprehensive range of both ‘voluntary’ and ‘anytime’ benefits’ to match your lifestyle choice and a friendly working environment with a strong team spirit and a good variety of project work.

Waterman is an equal opportunities employer and values diversity.
