The Environmental Dimension Partnership Ltd (EDP) is a highly regarded and successful multi-disciplinary environmental planning consultancy undertaking projects across the country from our offices in Cardiff, Cirencester, Cheltenham and Shrewsbury.
Working at EDP is fun, challenging and rewarding. We place significant value on our EDP Team as they make us who we are. We are extremely proud of the culture and brand we have built, and we have exceptional staff retention across our four offices. We pride ourselves in having kept our sociable one team culture; even in times of growth.
The Archaeology and Heritage Team has an interesting, diverse and challenging portfolio of active projects throughout England and Wales covering the full breadth of the historic environment.
As an Archaeology and Heritage Consultant, you will ideally have both demonstrable experience in an archaeological fieldwork role and a proven track record in heritage consultancy. You will provide technical project support to the wider EDP Archaeology and Heritage team and bring significant experience to the business across a range of project types and scales.
Ideally, you will have experience of multi-disciplinary projects, but more importantly be enthusiastic regarding the opportunities to work with our clients, other Project Managers and members of the EDP Team. However, most of all, you will provide solution-focused and pragmatic advice to our clients on a wide variety of archaeology and heritage projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop their professional skills, project management and technical ability by working within the wider EDP team, including opportunities to engage in the delivery of projects covering a range of issues, such as landscape assessment and design, ecology, masterplanning and arboriculture.
You will have a sound professional reputation and be conscious of the need to develop a diverse network of contacts; showing energy, enthusiasm and excellent client care skills to advance your professional reputation and create your own portfolio of projects.
The successful candidate will be positive, proactive, client focussed, and be committed to maintaining their expertise through internal and external training and research. They will ideally be at least an Associate member of the CIfA already (or be ready to achieve this level).
We offer a very competitive benefits package, which includes: pension; private health insurance; life assurance; free lunch; 30 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays; and a profit share bonus scheme.
If you are interested in joining our team, please send a comprehensive CV and covering letter, along with written and visual work examples, to Hannah Parkin at: firstname.lastname@example.org
We are currently reviewing applications, with the intention to appoint as soon as possible.
