We are recruiting a development management archaeologist to provide advice to local planning authorities, developers and their agents throughout the planning process. The post includes setting briefs, agreeing programmes, and monitoring of all phases of site and office based archaeological work.
The ideal candidate will have good experience of British commercial archaeology and detailed knowledge of planning policy and its implementation in relation to the historic environment.
You will form part of a small dedicated heritage team but be able to take ownership of your own area of work, have good communication skills, be computer literate, and extremely well organised.
