The Environmental Dimension Partnership Ltd (EDP) is a highly regarded and successful multi-disciplinary environmental planning consultancy, with a team of nearly 120 full time employees undertaking projects across the country from our offices in Cardiff, Cirencester, Shrewsbury and Cheltenham.
As a result of recent growth, and the expectation of continued growth, we are looking to add to the Archaeology and Heritage Team in our Shrewsbury Office.
As a Principal Archaeology and Heritage Consultant, you will provide specialist technical project support to the wider EDP Archaeology and Heritage team and provide experienced Project Management across a broad range of project types and sizes, with a particular focus on the larger and more complex projects within the business.
Ideally, you will have experience of multi-disciplinary projects, but more importantly be enthusiastic regarding the opportunities to work with our clients, other Project Managers and members of the EDP Team. However, most of all, you will provide solution-focused and pragmatic advice to our clients on a wide variety of archaeology and heritage projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop their professional skills and technical ability by working within the wider EDP team, including opportunities to engage in, and lead with the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects covering a range of issues, such as landscape assessment and design, ecology, masterplanning and arboriculture.
You will have a strong professional reputation and be conscious of the need to maintain a diverse network of contacts; showing dynamism, enthusiasm and excellent client care skills to further develop your professional reputation and create your own portfolio of projects.
The successful candidate will be positive, proactive, client focussed, knowledgeable in their specialist area and be committed to maintaining expertise through internal, external training and research. You will ideally be a full Member of the CIfA.
We offer a very competitive benefits package, which includes: pension; private health insurance; life assurance; free lunch; 30 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays; and a profit share bonus scheme.
If you are interested in joining our team, please send a comprehensive CV and covering letter, along with written and visual work examples,
