Salary £19,300.00 – £20,376.13 (pro rata)

The Company
Northern Archaeological Associates is the leading independent heritage and archaeology consultancy in the north of England and has a broad range of current excavation, survey, geomatic, historic environment and community projects.
 
The Role
NAA is seeking a Post-Excavation Assistant to join our team in Barnard Castle to undertake skeleton washing and environmental sample processing in our dedicated facilities.
The role is fixed term for 3 months with a possibility for a contract renewal dependent on work being available.
The role is expected to be predominantly office-based.

You will have an interest in archaeological finds, human remains and/or environmental sample processing, preferably with previous experience in one or more of these areas. Additional training in processing and identification work can be provided where required. It is essential that you can work methodically and accurately.
 
Other requirements
A current driver’s licence is desirable.
 
Further information
Starting salary will be commensurate with the expertise and experience of the successful candidate and payment will be made weekly in arrears.
