Archaeological and Heritage Professionals at all Levels of Experience

Lanpro are expanding our archaeology and heritage services nationally and we have exciting opportunities for enthusiastic and driven archaeological and heritage consultants at all stages of their careers.

You could be just starting out and looking to gain further skills and knowledge as part of our dynamic team, or be highly experienced and keen to take on a new challenge - we’d love to hear from you regardless.

Our archaeology and heritage services compliment  the planning, development and design services also offered by Lanpro Services. Building on our reputation for clear, practical, and commercially focused advice, we have continued to grow and this is a great opportunity for rapid career development.

We are looking for commercially aware, talented and motivated individuals to provide solid and consistent advice to our clients.

You will have a number of varied responsibilities depending on experience, which may include providing consultancy advice, producing desk-based assessments and/or heritage statements, and costing, organising and managing fieldwork projects. A background in archaeological fieldwork or historic building recording would also be an advantage.

However, a proactive attitude and a desire to work with the team to help develop the business will be central to the role at any level.

You will have a degree in an archaeology or a heritage-based discipline and, dependent on the role, be a member of either the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (PCIfA; ACIfA or MCIfA) or be a full or affiliate member of the IHBC.

Ideally you will have at had at least a years professional experience, however, applications from talented graduates will be seriously considered.

All roles will come with a generous salary, including discretionary bonuses as well as a flexible working environment and fantastic opportunities for career progression. (BAJR Approved)

The role will involve travel around the UK, therefore a full driving licence and access to a car are essential.

We have offices in Norwich, Chelmsford, Cambridge, Retford, London, York and Manchester, but we would happily discuss any location in the UK with the right candidate, including home working.

For an informal discussion about roles at any level, please contact Paul Gajos, Director (Archaeology + Heritage) on 01777 552 001.
To apply, please email a CV and covering letter to Paul Gajos at
