Established in 1995, AIS Environment is a Maltese professional environmental consultancy firm providing all environmental services requested by industry related to planning, land use, development and assessment. We are seeking to recruit an archaeologist to join our existing team in Malta.
The selected candidate’s role would be archaeological monitoring, surveying, investigations and post excavation and research work.
The selected candidate is expected to have a University degree in Archaeology, with two years work experience as a minimum. A Masters degree in Maltese or Punic Archaeology would be an asset. The successful candidate is expected to manage assigned cases and compile documents and reports for the cases handled. Coaching and guidance shall be provided by Lead Archaeologist Mr Vincenzo Cherubini in Maltese archaeology and documentation, leading to local registration as an archaeologist.
Applicants should: - Be smart, highly motivated and can work on his/her initiative;
- Good communication skills and strong technical writing skills in English
- Be well versed in computerised systems and AutoCAD drawing
- Hold a valid driving licence
