Salary: from £20,600 - £21,500 (depending on experience) + generous benefits package
Hours: Full time, 37.5h/week
Locations: Based at Yorkshire & North office, Cleckheaton, although travel nationwide will be required
Contract Type: 6 month fixed-term contract with a view to extension

Headland are looking to recruit career-minded geophysical surveyors at assistant level due to an unprecedented demand for our services. To join our teams you will need to be prepared to work in all weathers, on various ground conditions, with a dynamic can-do attitude. We work nationwide so working away from the office will be the norm. Weekend working and/or staying away over weekends is likely.

Key skills requirements
Applicants should have relevant experience in the field and commercial experience would be preferred. However, we will consider candidates with non-commercial experience who can demonstrate they have the right attitude and energy for the job. The following criteria are essential:
A Degree in Archaeology, or in a relevant subject, experience of magnetometer survey, and membership of the CIfA are desirable criteria for the role.
- Full driving licence and be able and willing to drive company vehicles in UK
- An ability to carry out prolonged manual work in an outdoor environment
- Up to date CSCS card (ideally Academically Qualified Person or Professionally Qualified Person) or willingness to acquire one
- Good organisational & communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Substantial knowledge of MS Office & English language
