The Surrey County Archaeological Unit (SCAU) has been established for over 20 years. Its aim is to provide high quality, competitively priced archaeological services to both commercial and public sector clients in Surrey and the surrounding counties and London boroughs. The Unit’s highly skilled staff bring a wealth of experience to a rich variety of archaeological projects.

We can offer service ranging from consultancy through to fieldwork, and post excavation analysis, providing the seamless integration of an archaeological programme into your development project, to comply with all planning conditions.

If your project is a public or corporate initiative, we can also offer a wide range of educational and outreach services, as well as producing heritage promotion materials and publications, to provide added value and meet the CSR values of your organisation.
